On Wednesday, May 22, Mary Ann and her son-in-law Matt Stockholm left Reno and drove to Sherri’s home in Lewiston ID. Their primary route was on US Hwy 95. They are using Mary Ann’s camper van for the third year.
We left Lewiston at 2:00 pm and arrived at the Palouse to Cascades State Park trailhead at Cedar Falls, arriving around 7:15 pm. A very nice gentleman gave us the rundown of the trail and what to expect, so we are all set to get on the bikes tomorrow. We will take turns driving the van. Each driver will drive a certain distance, leave the van there, then ride back to meet up with the two riders. Everyone should get in a lot of miles on their bikes. We are heading to Tall Chief Resort for the night.
We will start riding in the morning!
