"Trek Across Texas" is an 800 mile bicycle ride diagonally across the second largest of our 50 United States. The purpose is to heighten public awareness of Huntington's Disease and to raise funds for research towards a cure The route goes South through the panhandle to San Angelo, then turns East, through the "Hill Country," Southeast through Austin, and on to Houston. The destination is the 18th Annual Convention of HDSA in Houston, TX (June 6-8). Guest riders are encouraged! Check out the itinerary and E-mail us if you plan to join us for a day or more! By averaging 50 miles a day, the ride will take 2 1/2 weeks. |
