— Convention – Day 3 – June 3

After planning for the last four months this is the last day of this years adventure. There are meetings to attend all day, lunch and the awards dinner this evening. It is always interesting to see what new research and pharmaceuticals are being developed. There is a lot of information for caregivers and like last year, we could participate in data collection by giving a blood sample and answer a questionnaire, which I did. There had been no miracle cure for Huntington’s disease this year, but there has been progress made in medications that help delay symptoms. That gives hope to that better medications will keep being developed until that miracle is achieved. Time to say good-bye to friends we have made at these conventions and head home.
