We arrived in Rockport yesterday afternoon. It is north of Corpus Christi across the bay. We did a little sightseeing in San Antonio on the way. We walked the riverwalk for a ways and looked around the Alamo grounds. In 2008 when we were there before we went back inside, so did not pay to do that again. San Antonio is a very large city of more than 1,000,000 people. Between there and Corpus Christi is quite an agricultural area. We saw fields of corn and what we thought might be maize.
